How the estimate is calculated
Card processing is modelled the same on both sides so the difference is driven by marketplace commission versus your CarpSync platform fee assumption.
- Monthly booking value = average booking value × bookings per month
- Marketplace commission = monthly booking value × marketplace commission %
- Card processing (variable) = monthly booking value × payment processing %
- Card processing (fixed) = bookings per month × fixed processing charge
- Marketplace total = marketplace commission + card processing (variable + fixed)
- CarpSync total = CarpSync monthly platform fee + the same card processing
- Estimated fee difference = marketplace total − CarpSync total (× 12 for annual)
