Pricing

Clear commercial model — without invented prices

CarpSync pricing depends on venue type and modules. This page explains how fees work, what we can already confirm, and how to get a tailored quote — without publishing unverified £ amounts.

No marketplace commission on bookings by default. Processor fees are separate. Platform pricing is confirmed in writing for your fishery.

Fee types

Three charges people often confuse

Keep these distinct when you compare CarpSync with marketplaces or when you read a quote.

CarpSync

CarpSync platform fee

The subscription or platform charge for using CarpSync products and modules. Tailored to venue type and selected modules — book a demo for a written quote.

Stripe, PayPal, or your chosen processor

Payment processor fee

Card and wallet processing fees charged by the payment provider that settles angler payments. These are separate from CarpSync’s platform fee.

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal (Terms).

Typical booking marketplaces (not CarpSync’s default model)

Marketplace commission

A percentage taken from each booking by a marketplace or listing platform. CarpSync’s default model is direct bookings without that commission layer.

CarpSync does not take commission on bookings unless otherwise agreed (Terms).

Frequently asked questions

Honest answers only — no fabricated plan prices or go-live calendars.

How does CarpSync pricing work?

Pricing depends on venue type and the modules you need. We distinguish the CarpSync platform fee from payment-processor charges and from marketplace-style commission. Book a tailored demo for a written quote — we do not publish invented plan prices here.

Do you take commission on bookings?

No — CarpSync does not take commission on bookings unless otherwise agreed. That is separate from any fees your payment processor charges on card payments.

Who charges card payment fees?

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal. Their rates are set by those providers under your account agreement, not by publishing a CarpSync substitute rate on this page.

Can I choose which modules I use?

Yes. Bookings, Fishery Manager Pro and Fish Stock Pro are available as connected products. What is included versus optional in your commercial package is confirmed in your quote.

Can you help migrate from spreadsheets or another system?

Yes. Migration planning is part of onboarding. We work from how you operate today and agree scope with you — without publishing fixed go-live timelines on the website.

What about our data if we leave?

Under our privacy policy you can request access to and portability of personal data. Operational export of fishery records is arranged with the CarpSync team. Detailed ownership and exit terms are confirmed in your agreement.
